It's a wow : Cake 2.0 has been released

It's a wow. Yeah, this news is quiet 'old' enough since it was released at October 21st, 2011 yesterday. I've not give it a try yet on it. I wish I could try it soon. It's just my current application needs a lil bit attention :D

Based on the bakery, there are some changes/ interesting stuff to be checked out. Not patient to give it a try :D But, it might needs a time, since the naming-convention is different from 1.3.* versions. One of my fav, I heard from some people, it's really faster! It must be great..

A number of subsystems have changed in CakePHP 2.0. This talk will cover a few of the larger changes and how you can best leverage the changes made in your application: Sessions and Auth - More extensible API's and how you can bend them to your will. Console - What's changed and how you can build better console tools. Error Handling - What to do when thing inevitably go wrong. Improved error handling and exception handling. I'll also try to cover the how and why CakePHP 2.0 is so much faster than 1.x.
